The MNjcc’s Early Childhood Education program - home to the Libbie Cowan Childcare Centre (18 months – 2.5 years) and the Thomas and Marjorie Schwartz Preschool and JK (2.5 years – 4 years) - offers a joyful, inclusive environment where children learn through play.
Our Learn Through Play philosophy encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence, guided by caring educators who nurture each child’s growth and sense of belonging.

This registration places your child on the waitlist for our child care, preschool, and JK Program. Please be aware that while your child will be added to the waitlist, this does not guarantee a spot in our program.
When a spot becomes available for you to register your child, you will be contacted by someone in our early childhood centre with information regarding how to register. Due to the high demand of our programs, we endeavor to register all who apply but it may not always be possible.

Director of Early Childhood Education

Cheri creates inclusive spaces for children, families, and educators. With 10+ years leading Prosserman JCC daycare/preschool, she specializes in curriculum design & kid's mental health.
Tiffany Bien
Assistant Director, Early Childhood Education

With over 25 years in theECE field, Tiffany brings experience as a teacher, supervisor, and quality assurance director. She believes in child-directed learning and building strong family partnerships.
Liezel Garcia
Administrative Coordinator, Early Childhood Education

Liezel is a Registered ECE with seven years of experience supporting children from infancy to school age. She’s passionate about inclusion and helping every child reach their full potential.
Kate Shaner
Instructor, Suzuki ECE Music Class
Kate is a passionate Suzuki educator with experience in teaching, arts admin, and program design. She holds degrees in music and Suzuki pedagogy and loves sharing music with young learners.
