Adult Music Programs

At the MNjcc, we believe music has no age limit. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to deepen years of experience, our adult music programs offer group classes, choirs, and ensembles tailored to your skill level. Music Programs We Offer

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced musician, our programs offer a welcoming space to sing, play, and grow. Join a choir, explore pop music, or develop skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment. No matter your level, you’ll find opportunities to connect with others, make music, and enjoy the joy of learning together.

Sing a diverse repertoire in a choir that is all energy and heart. Our SATB choir meets on Monday evenings and tackles a diverse range of music, including world, jazz, classical, Jewish, folk, Canadian, gospel, and pop genres. Singers learn expression, blend, vocal production, and reading. A vocal assessment is required for all new members.

The MNjcc welcomes and encourages choral singers from racialized persons/persons of colour, women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ2S+ persons, people of any and no faith, and others who reflect the diversity of our community, our city and our country.
