After School Program runs from September to June and volunteers should commit on a weekly basis. Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 3:00pm to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To ensure the safety of all children in attendance
• Assist ASP Staff with delivering all activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times
• Communicate with the teachers regarding any areas of concern regarding safety of the children
• Assist with the supervision of children during outdoor and gym times.
• Assist teachers with children’s snack routine
• Assist the children with nap/rest time routines
• Reading, understanding and adhering to all ASP policies
• Show enthusiasm for all facets of the After School Program.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of home room

Qualifications and Requirements:

• If over the age of 17, must have a police reference check (Vulnerable Sector)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Up to date immunization record including full Covid-19 vaccination.
• Must have an outgoing personality and work well with children
• Able to communicate easily with parents
