Featured Programs
Storylines is now accepting submissions for a two-night, two-venue festival of Jewish stories exploring the theme of belonging. Selected storytellers will receive a series of workshops led by Ronit Rubinstein and Samantha Hacker to help them shape and strengthen their live storytelling skills. Both festival evenings will be recorded in partnership with the CJN Podcast and archived by the Ontario Jewish Archives.
Presented by the Al Green Theatre at the Miles Nadal JCC, Leah Posluns Theatre at Prosserman JCC, and the Ontario Jewish Archives, with support from UJA’s Kultura Collective and J.B. & Dora Salsberg Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto.

On February 9, 1964, 73 million households tuned into The Ed Sullivan Show to watch The Beatles’ first North American performance.
Following The Beatles were groups such as The Dave Clark Five, The Animals, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds and The Who.
Over six weeks, we will learn about the music and history of one of the greatest moments in pop history, forever known as the British Invasion.
Discover a new side of Sigmund Freud
From award-winning Israeli filmmaker Yair Qedar comes a cinematic journey into the life and work of Sigmund Freud.
Presented in four acts and combining animation, dreams and insights from leading psychoanalysts, Outsider. Freud explores Freud’s experiences of marginalization as a Jew in Vienna during Hitler’s rise, and how they shaped his theories and personal life.
The film offers an intimate look at Freud’s impact on psychoanalysis, Judaism and the experience of being an outsider.
This in-person screening will be followed by a live Zoom Q&A with director Yair Qedar, moderated by Oren Gozlan.
