    Manager, Member and Guest Experience – One Year Contract

    Starting July 2019

     

    Short Description of the Position:

    The Manager of Member and Guest Experience is responsible for the effective operations of the service desks resulting in the achievement of outstanding customer service, membership and program growth supporting policies and systems needed to provide a professional, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and resourceful front-line customer service experience for all who engage with the MNjcc.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Cultivates a member centred environment by guiding and inspiring the staff team to deliver exceptional customer service to all who use the MNjcc.
    • Implements systems at the service desks that ensure both operational and service excellence. 
    • Recruits, coaches and provides leadership to the staff team to meet department goals.
    • Establishes rapport and maintains effective relationships with members, staff, volunteers and community partners.
    • Fosters a work environment that values and encourages teamwork and empowerment
    • Implements and promotes a sales culture which supports membership and program sales. 
    • Develops and manages member feedback and communication systems. 
    • Implements, measures and improves customer service activities.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years leadership experience managing a staff team in a comparable customer service environment.
    • Post-secondary education in office or business administration, hospitality or related fields.
    • Well developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with people with diverse backgrounds
    • Contributes to a work environment that values and encourages teamwork and empowerment.
    • Exceptional conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Excellent organizational and administration skills including, scheduling, budgeting, payroll administration and policy writing.
    • Sales experience an asset.
    • Public speaking experience or presentation skills an asset.
    • Outgoing, positive attitude, persuasive, results driven and quick thinking.
    • Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings. 
    • Knowledge of Jewish culture and customs an asset.
