    Office Administrator – Starts May/June 2019

    One-year contract position

     

    Short Description of the Position:

    This is a 25-hour per week administrative role.

    Schedule: Ideally 9:00 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday, but with some flexibility.

    The Office Administrator plays a key role in maintaining the records of the JCC, allowing support and programming departments to spend more of their time working to deliver services. The OA works to meet MNjcc organizational needs that don’t fall to any specific department.

     

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Record Management
    • Filing
    • Manage Archive Room
    • Document Shredding
    • Supply Ordering/Upkeep
    • Internal Mail between 720 and 750
    • Outgoing Mail
    • Manage department calendar
    • Business Travel Booking
    • Manage Criminal Reference Check program

     

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • 2+ Years of experience working in an administrative capacity
    • Technical Skills - strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly become familiar with new programs.
    • Communication Skills (written and verbal)
    • Organization
    • Self-Starter – needs to be able to work with minimal supervision
    • Time Management
    • Resilience
    • Ability Prioritize/Make Decisions
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada/for the MNjcc.

    Salary and Benefits:

    • Hourly Rate $16/hour ($20,800 annually)
