    Short Description of the Position:

The Miles Nadal JCC After School Program provides age appropriate, stimulating and safe activities for school age children. Monday to Friday (Flexibility with days worked); 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm from September to June

    Description of the Position:

    Strength of Self is a free weekly program for women transitioning away from abusive relationships. The group combines self-esteem curriculum with self-care, anger management skills, meditation and support. Group discussion activities include reading, art expression, vision boards, writing exercises, role playing, storytelling, and using the body scan technique. Intake happens regularly. This position is a part time contract for 2-4 hours a week.

     

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Outreach and intake
    • Risk assessment
    • Support and counselling  
    • Participation in activities
    • Leading group discussions
    • Provide information and referrals to community supports and services.

    Position: Part-time Graphic Designer (4 hours per day, Monday - Friday)

    The salary for this position is $21/hour.

    The Part-time Graphic Designer lends support to one of our most thriving and creative teams – our Marketing Department.   You’ll be responsible for designing within the MNjcc branding guidelines while working side-by-side with our team in an innovative and dynamic environment.  You consider yourself a motivated, talented graphic artist who is a team player and an agreeable, organized, punctual individual who can keep on top of several ongoing projects.


    WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS POSITION:

    • Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to layout and design marketing materials for the large number of MNjcc programs and services. Materials include but are not limited to: flyers, posters, social media and other digital graphics, banners, brochures, postcards, etc.
    • Help formulate and maintain the brand identity for this busy and dynamic community centre.
    • Select stock images/MNjcc photo files to appropriately convey the organization’s commitment to inclusion, accessibility and diversity.
    • Stay on top of current design trends and techniques to ensure the materials produced are effective, contemporary, distinctive and appealing.

    Short Description of the Position:

    A member of the MNjcc Bookings Department team, the MNjcc Bookings Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of all internal room bookings and venue rentals at the MNjcc (excluding the Al Green Theatre).  Their primary function is to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and maximize space utilization in order to serve the needs of the MNjcc and the community at large.

    This is a full time, 37.5 hour per week, position with a Monday to Friday schedule (with occasional weekends) in a fast-paced work environment.
