    Gentle Fit is a safe and gentle small group exercise program for people experiencing balance and mobility challenges. It is an ideal program for participants who may be living with orthopedic and neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis (MS) or have overall weakness in the body after an operation or extended hospital stay.  This program was created for people who have taken the TIME™ program and want to complement their workout routine by adding more resistance exercises for strength conditioning.

    Designed by physiotherapists at Toronto Rehab, TIME is a safe, gentle, and fun exercise program for people experiencing balance and mobility challenges. TIME was developed for participants who may be living with:

    • Orthopedic and neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury and multiple sclerosis (MS),
    • The effects of aging
    • Weakness after an operation or extended hospital stay

    TIME™ is based on health care and community organizations working together to make exercise more accessible, do-able and fun!

    (Previously known as Osteofit) Maintaining strong bones is an essential part of an active lifestyle. This class’s elements of fitness will help improve the health of your bones and prevent fall-related injuries. This program is designed to cater to older adults with osteopenia or osteoporosis; all of our instructors are older adult fitness specialists who are BoneFit™ trained with Osteoporosis Canada or Osteo-Circuit certified.

    Focus areas in this fitness program include: gaining muscular strength to improve balance and overall body composition and improving cardiovascular health.
