Dear MNjcc Members and Friends,

At approximately 10:15 a.m. on March 7, the Miles Nadal JCC received bomb threat that turned out to be a false alarm.
We take all matters concerning security very seriously and by following established protocols our staff were able to evacuate the building in under 10 minutes, taking children and members to safety.
Toronto’s Emergency Services were on site within minutes and conducted a thorough search and called the all-clear. The MNjcc reopened within two hours.
We are working very closely with the Toronto Police and Community Security and feel more secure than ever with their increased vigilance.
Our thanks go out to our Emergency Services and to the hundreds of people from across Toronto’s vast spectrum of diversity, who sent messages of solidarity and support. Together we are stronger.
We’re back in our building and back in business. Thank you to all for your words of support.
