    Featuring author Peter Usher
    Nearly 10,000 Canadians died serving in Britain’s Bomber Command campaign against Germany during the Second World War, and Jewish airman Joey Jacobson was one of them. This new publication – at once biography, social and military history – intimately brings Canada’s war-time experience to life, as told through Joey’s own letters and diaries, as well as those of his family and friends.

    Fee: $5 (includes refreshments)

    Tickets will be available for in-person sales on the morning of each Thursday program, on a first-come, first-served basis. A percentage of tickets are available for advance online registration for weekly Thursday afternoon programs.
