Program Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds or credits are available if a program registrant withdraws one week prior to program/class start, with a $25 cancellation fee; some exceptions apply. The MNjcc is not responsible for classes missed due to illness or personal emergencies. The MNjcc cannot retroactively refund the difference between Member and Non-member prices. Unused credit amounts expire after 12 months from the date of issue.
The MNjcc provides a tolerant environment for all people using and working at our JCC. The Board and management of the MNjcc expect all persons to behave in a manner consistent with this policy while using or working at our JCC. The laws of the Province of Ontario (including the Human Rights Code) apply to how the MNjcc conducts its programsand services and equally apply to how staff and Members behave while using MNjcc facilities. The MNjcc reserves the right to suspend Membership privileges, without refund, of any Member, or to remove from the premises any Member, who:
- Aids or abets in the unauthorized entrance of a Non-member
- Is physically or verbally abusive to any Member or MNjcc staff
- Knowingly disregards any MNjcc rule or regulation
- Deliberately causes damage to any MNjcc property
- Uses profanity while on the premises
Please report a breach of any of these rules immediately to MNjcc staff.

- Classes will be cancelled with a minimum of 4 hours’ notice.
- Instructor will make every effort to schedule a make-up class.
The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre supports the creation of a fragrance free environment so that chemical barriers will not prevent access to the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre for people having chemical sensitivities.
All staff, guests and members are asked to refrain from using, wearing, and bringing scented products and materials into the MNjcc properties and buildings, and to be mindful of the by-product of smoking on their person and others. Compliance with this policy relies on the goodwill of staff, members and guests.
For the first time, we will be implementing a new Capital Improvement Fee on all programs and services. We are sure you can appreciate that your fees alone do not cover the costs of running the MNjcc. This new fee will be 2% as of September 1, 2016. This will have a minimum impact on your fees, but means a great deal to our ability to replace equipment in the Fitness Centre as well as throughout the building for classrooms and shared spaces. It will also assist with the cost of much needed capital improvements to our facility such as: aging boilers, upgrades to the pool, the expansion of the stretch area, and future lobby renovations. Thank you for your understanding.
