The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc) is a dynamic hub in downtown Toronto. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. Rooted in Jewish values, the MNjcc is open to all.
The MNjcc is home to a 3,800 member state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, the 285 seat Al Green Theatre, four schools, three choirs, a wide range of arts and cultural activities, Jewish Life programming, and a robust Active 55+ program. It is a founding member of the Bloor Street Cultural Corridor, and the lead organizer of the annual Annex Family Festival.

The Miles Nadal Jewish Community is seeking a new Executive Director who will lead the organization in delivering on the strategic priorities of the organization in a manner that is consistent with the organization’s vision, mission and values. Applicants who meet the following criteria and can demonstrate their skill and ability in the following areas should apply:
• You must be a Registered Massage Therapist and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario;
• Have an active license for a minimum of 1 year and liability insurance;
• Must be legally permitted to work in Canada;
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional treatment to clients and an impeccable level of customer service;
• Excellent communication skills including solid knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Additional certifications and work experience in personal training, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic work or fascial stretch therapy would be a strong asset.
The successful candidate will be available to work the following shifts:
• Sundays 10am-5pm
Starting Fall 2017 - Reports to Childcare Supervisor
The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre is seeking an experienced RECE teacher for its Childcare. Preference will be given to RECE teachers with previous experience in Play-Based Learning and/or a Child Directed Learning program. Be a part of this dynamic school where you will have the opportunity to grow with the children. Primary responsibilities include observing children and implementing a stimulating program for the children and open communication with parents.
The Development Associate plays an important role by providing fundraising support to the MNjcc and participating in all fundraising activities including grant writing and annual giving. Reporting to the Director of Development, this multifaceted position is an opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, organized individual who is looking to apply and expand their skills in a team-oriented organization.
A member of the Al Green Theatre team, the technician is responsible for the overall technical set and execution of events. The Technician’s primary function is to work with the event organizer on the day-of the event to assist with meeting lighting, sound and video requirements for each event. In addition the Technician liaises with theatre clients and front of house staff to ensure the smooth execution of events, and uphold theatre policy and procedure.
The Al Green Theatre is a fast-paced, professional and collaborative work environment which hosts a wide range of arts and community events from film screenings, to concerts, panel discussions and theatrical and dance presentations. Working hours vary as they are based on the theatre bookings calendar – staffing schedules are determined on a monthly basis.
The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre is seeking experienced RECE or ECA teachers for its Preschool and Toddler rooms. The position is on an at need basis. Preference will be given to RECE teachers with previous experience in Play-Based Learning and/or a Child Directed Learning program. Be a part of this dynamic school where you will have the opportunity to grow with the children. Primary responsibilities include stepping in for the replacement of an absent staff.
