Enjoy the film Tony Curtis: Driven to Stardom, the story of Bernard Schwartz, the son of poor Hungarian Jewish parents who enjoyed the films of Cary Grant and Errol Flynn as an escape. Ultimately, Bernard Schwartz became Tony Curtis, the handsome trend-setting movie star admired by many. This exploration of his life including film clips, anecdotes, home movie and interviews with his friends and loved ones. After the film, participate in a lively discussion with Toronto Jewish Film Festival Program Director (and film maven) Larry Anklewicz.

In addition to transforming the synagogue into a hub of dynamic progressive Judaism, his pulpit duties, and  radio and television programs/segments, Rabbi Yossi is an accomplished, artistic photographer. Be enriched as you hear his original narrative and view his original art.
