PJ Plus

A cartoon toy train pulls booksPJ Plus is a curriculum-based program designed for children ages 18 months – 3 years together WITH a parent, to engage in active Jewish learning together. Through a curriculum based on Jewish themes, children and parents will participate in hands on activities, including storytelling based on PJ Library books, arts and crafts, music, movement, puppets, and more. Take home activities will provide optional continued learning opportunities for the family.

Friday mornings 10:00 – 10:45 am OR 11:15 am – 12:00 pm

Cost per session: $75 ($7.50 weekly drop-in)

2% CIF plus HST charges may apply

From generation to generation, our songful, soul-filled, and surprising celebrations invite everyone in your family to share their own spark. Our Groove festivals will nurture your family bonds and connect you with Jewish values through the feelings, sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Shabbat and holidays.

Jewish Families at the J is an open, welcoming community for everyone who is curious about Jewish life. Our community proudly includes intermarried and LGBTQ families and people of all abilities.

Groove celebrations are co-produced with Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School, Downtown Jewish Community School, MNjcc Israeli Connection, Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp, and Camp Gesher/Habonim Dror. We are proud to be part of the 92Y ShababaTM Network.
