Michael Bernstein Chapel

Celebrate your occasion at the MNjcc! A hidden gem in the centre, the Michael Bernstein Chapel is an intimate 60-seat sanctuary. With stained glass windows, the Chapel is a special space for celebration in the midst of a bustling neighbourhood. The Chapel is dedicated to the memory of Michael Bernstein, killed in Italy during WWII.

Morning Minyan

Come to services on Thursdays at 7:15 AM and Sundays at 8:00 AM in the Michael Bernstein Chapel. The minyan is led by Rabbi Asher Turin and Chazzan David Nemtzov and follows the Conservative service. Kosher Kiddush follows.

Monthly Shabbat Morning Services

With Congregation Shir Libeynu

Liberal, inclusive, egalitarian and unaffiliated services include prayers and music, ancient and modern, in a welcoming community. We offer regular morning services, usually on the first Saturday of the month, as well as Kabbalat (Friday night) Shabbat, contemplative/chanting and Havdallah services throughout the year. Our services are followed by a kiddish. All our children's programs are free. Welcome to our Shul.

High Holy Day Services

With the First Narayever Congregation

Traditional egalitarian services led by Rabbi Dr. David Weiss in a strong and warm community.  Also offered are creative children’s and youth programming, family services and babysitting.
