This full body workout has a strong emphasis on functional core strength. It is a great low-impact alternative to help strengthen your joints and muscles and is also recommended for anyone recovering from an injury. Classes are led by a certified Gravity Trainer.

Instructor: Liz Smith
Liz has had a passion for fitness for over 25 years. She demonstrates her desire to affect positive change in the lives of the people that she teaches. Delivering results is her promise to every participant in her Gravity class. Her goal, when teaching bodyweight training, is to promote movement for everyday life enjoyment. Liz enjoys sharing her love of fitness and health with everyone she meets. Drop in and join her in one of MNjcc’s many classes.
“I am one of the lucky ones who have taken the Light Gravity class since its beginning nearly 400 Thursdays ago! I might even add that Thursday became my favorite day of the week especially since Liz Smith started teaching the class. She gives us a great workout and has made every member of the class stronger and improved our muscles as well as our balance. We do exercises that are challenging but not always the same ones each week. Exercise is fun but it is serious at the same time. We celebrate the important events in our lives as a group after class on occasion. Liz motivates us and is one of the finest fitness instructors that the MNjcc has ever had. The Light Gravity class helped me regain my stomach muscles after surgery and Liz also helps adapt a move if you have Parkinson and/ or arthritis or other conditions."
